Well, it seems the gods have other plans. The retrieval from the Upper Plate is canceled until all members of the party have returned to their normal selves.

[It's an accidentlal voice post. The sound of creaking and cracking joints can be heard, followed by a gravel-throated scream of agony. Then there's the pounding of four heavy feet on the ground, growing gradually fainter, and after a minute or so the recording cuts out.]

Some - thing managed to get into Task Force HQ. I don't know how it did it, but it seemed to cast powerful illusions over the place.
